If you are looking for a thickness pad, this is not for you. If you are looking for something to make your area run nonstick, this is for you. We cut it out and taped it to the back of the rug. I have dogs and toddlers running over my rugs all day long, and I don't want anyone tripping. This keeps the rugs secure.These are sold as outdoor pads but they look and feel exactly like an indoor pad. Not certain if there is an actual difference. They are nice but if no difference buying an indoor pad might be less expensive. They are fine and work as they should though.adds additional comfort to our outside rugsSeems to be a good pad.
