I really like this pad. Works great for my horses. But it started to come undone after two weeks. For the price it was definitely disappointingWow love the cutout for the withers. Our horse has very tall narrow withers so the extra space is appreciated. Gel adds protection for our older horseI liked the old pads that had a cut out for the Latigo strap and the off billet strap. This one did not have that. Not comfortable for the horse at his ribs.Fits nicely. Keeps weight off spine, breaths wellThis pad is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. Good back protection for my horse without the bulk, and allows close contact between horse and rider. The wither cut out and the contoured shape make it comfortable from the first ride. No saddle slip, and good shock absorption for the riders comfort too. Fits my round, shortbacked Quarter horse well, and is still big enough for my long skirted cutting saddle. Will definitely be buying a second one.
